Frank Mukai
Certified Reiki Master Practitioner & Emotion/Body Code Practitioner
With life experience shaped by time spent living in Mexico, Japan, New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Atlanta and San Francisco. Frank is on a journey of remembrance, returning to a life of purpose, gratitude, and service. He is committed to helping others heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves on this Earth. He deepens his practice by studying with teachers, elders, healers, and wisdom keepers across North, Central, and South America, as well as Asia, keeping ancient healing traditions alive and relevant.
In 2017, while in the rainforest of South America, Frank was reminded that his true path was simple, rooted, and ancient. This awareness eventually became a call to reconnect with the inner wisdom in all of us and to honor the ways of our ancestors.
In 2018, while in Central America, he connected with elders whose healing teachings emphasized truth, self-honesty, spiritual alignment, ancestral wisdom, releasing old patterns, and living with purpose.
In 2021, he met his spiritual teacher in Northern California and began learning and deepening his understanding of being of service, eventually assisting others on their path to healing.
In 2022, Frank’s Reiki journey began under Reiki Master Christopher Tellez, the founder of the SF Reiki Center. He completed his First and Second Degree Reiki certifications, and in 2023, became a Certified Reiki Practitioner. To honor the roots of his practice, he visited Mount Kurama in Kyoto, Japan, the birthplace of Reiki as taught by Usui Mikao Sensei, and paid homage at Takata Hawayo Sensei’s first Reiki clinic in Hilo, Hawaii. He is now a Certified Reiki Master Practitioner.
In 2023, he completed a 52-week initiation with ancestral teachers, focusing on inner work experience, personal development and service to others.
In 2024, he completed the SoundMind Institute’s 12-month Facilitator Certification Program, led by Dr. Hannah McLane, preparing him to hold space and support others on their healing journeys. He also completed the hands-on practicum sessions in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
In 2025, he completed the Emotion Code Level-1 Certification Program, a holistic energy healing modality developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson. He has also completed the Body Code Level-2 Certification program, a holistic, bioenergetic healing system. He is in now working through the Belief Code Level-3 Certification.
In 2026, to continue his spiritual path, he completed the Japanese Style Reiki Shoden, Chuden and Okuden, Levels 1, 2, & 3 Certifications under Inamoto Hyakuten Sensei, founder of Komyo ReikiDo 光明靈氣道 in Kyoto, Japan. Frank is currently a Shihan Candidate.
He walks this path with humility, dedication, and devotion, offering his experience and presence in service.
He is a US Marine veteran stationed in Japan in the late 80’s and in San Diego in the early 90’s, followed by a career in the high-tech industry that lasted 30+ years. He also speaks Spanish.
Frank supports clients navigating stress, anxiety, depression, fear, and major life transitions, including those recovering from illness and or seeking peace, clarity, and connection. He offers private sessions both in person and online to aid in unlocking the healer within.

Why Reiki?
Reiki has been a profoundly transformative path for Keiko. Through her practice, she has cultivated deep spiritual growth and developed a strong awareness of the importance of balance across the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions of life.
She discovered that Reiki allows her to serve others by channeling universal life energy with intention and compassion. Studying under Reiki Master Christopher Tellez has been instrumental in strengthening her technical skill, intuitive sensitivity, and confidence as a practitioner.
Background
Originally from Japan, Keiko has lived in Washington State, Boston, New York, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco. She earned her degree in Business Hospitality Management from Washington State University and worked in the hospitality industry for over a decade.
Her professional background cultivated strong interpersonal skills and a deep appreciation for service. Combined with her passion for natural healing, wellness, and inner harmony, this foundation naturally guided her toward Reiki as a lifelong calling.
Clients & Focus
Keiko supports clients navigating recovery from illness, anxiety, high stress, and depression, as well as individuals processing trauma and grief. She also works with those seeking personal growth, physical vitality, emotional balance, and deeper spiritual connection.
